General information

Agios Fokas is located on the southeastern side of the island, about 3 km from Tinos Town. This is one of the longest and most beautiful beaches on Tinos, boasting an impressive stretch of silky sand and crystalline waters. The waters are shallow and the sand continues down to the seabed, making this a nice spot for swimming. A large collection of tamarisk trees lines the shore, providing a nice touch of lush greenery along with ample natural shade to rest under.

The largest part of this area remains empty and unspoiled, offering a serene environment for some moments of relaxation. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available, as are beach bars serving cold refreshments and delectable snacks. The wider region provides some accommodations which place within walking distance from the wonderful beach.

Those traveling by private vehicle can access Agios Fokas Beach from Tinos Town in just 8 minutes. It is also possible to reach the beach on foot, but that'll take about 35 minutes.
It should be noted that its proximity to the capital has made Agios Fokas a rather popular destination, and it often attracts big crowds
