There is no airport on Lefkada island, but the nearby region of Preveza hosts Aktion Airport. During summer there are flights from various locations around Europe to Aktion Airport. Note that no flights from Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" to Aktion National Airport are carried out.
From Preveza, you can easily reach Lefkada by bus or taxi, since the island is linked to the mainland with a bridge.
You can rent a car in advance and select Aktion Airport as the pick-up point or pay a visit to one of the car rental desks situated at the airport. Alternatively, you can find further information about the timetables of KTEL buses on www.ktelprevezas.gr.

Lefkada doesn't have an international airport, but the nearby International Airport of Aktion in Preveza serves travelers. The distance between the airport and Lefkada Town is around 20 km.
Alternatively, you can fly to the International Airport of Athens and drive to Lefkada, as a bridge connects the island with the mainland.
If you are traveling during the high season, another option is to fly to the International Airport of Kefalonia, reach the small port of Fiscardo and take a ferry to Lefkada from there.
