Windsurfing Courses for beginners

General Description

Among the various water activities available in Santorini, windsurfing is one of the most preferred. In Avis beach, a broad and relatively off-the-beaten-track beach located near the airport, individuals with no experience in windsurfing can take a class and try taming the waves all by themselves.

Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will be introduced to the watersport. After that, your instructor will lead you to the water, where you’ll have your first attempt to get on board. Except for trying windsurfing in the Aegean, you will definitely have a great time during the whole process.

Two lesson options are offered? a beginner lesson and an intermediate lesson.

The 2-hour beginner lesson includes learning how to manage the sail on the beach, how to get into the water, and how to ride your board in the Aegean Sea. On the other hand, the 2-hour intermediate lesson constitutes a more advanced windsurfing experience.

All necessary equipment for your lesson, including a life jacket, is provided by the windsurfing center.
Everyone over the age of 8 is welcome and can take the course.
The activity is available from May to September.
