EXPLORE LIPSI ISLAND!

Located between Patmos and Leros, Lipsi (or Leipsoi) is a small island of the Dodecanese. Its remote location and small size have caused the island to remain unnoticed by mass tourism, preserving its unspoiled natural landscape, unspoiled seashores and traditional character of its main town.
Hiking, swimming or simply relaxing on the seashore are your go-to activities when visiting Lipsi.

Our guide for Lipsi in Greece contains all the must know information about this small gem of the Aegean! You will find everything you need to know about its beaches, landmarks as well as hotels and restaurants. In addition, we provide a few suggestions on what to do on the island and a collection of amazing photos!

MORE ABOUT LIPSI GREECE

Lipsi is a small island of the Dodecanese group, at the eastern side of the Aegean Sea.

Its capital is the center of the island’s activities. The main port of the island also lies there, where ferries from Piraeus and other islands of the Dodecanese arrive daily.
In the town, you’ll find the majority of hotels, restaurants, shops and other facilities that will make your stay as comfortable as it can get.
What’s more, there is a public bus departing from the main town that serves itineraries to the island's beaches. So Lipsi Town is, in many aspects, one of the best places to stay.

Close to the town, you’ll find two of the most popular beaches of the island: Lientou and Kambos, where several accommodation facilities are located as well.
The island's seashores stand out for their crystal clear waters, peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking natural beauty. Most of them are unorganized, so they keep their unspoiled charm and laid-back atmosphere, rewarding the visitors with long relaxing days at the beach! For those who seek total isolation, Lipsi is full of charming secluded beaches, which can be reached either on foot or by bus from the town.

If you’re searching for a Greek island destination off the beaten tourist trail, Lipsi in Greece might be the perfect one for you!
