Evdilos
Evdilos has a very interesting architecture with Neoclassical buildings, old traditional stone houses and mansions, modern houses and narrow streets.
Messakti beach
Located on the northern side of the island, Messakti is among the most beautiful beaches in Greece. This is a large bay with sandy coast and wonderful, crystal waters.
Livadi beach
The organized beach of Livadi is a wonderful place to spend a day at the sun. Located on the northern side of the island, it is sandy and has amazing waters.
Traditional feasts
The experience of a local fair in Ikaria is unforgettable. The island is famous throughout the Greek islands, for night-long festivals, known as panigyria in Greek, where locals celebrate the saints and other religious holidays.
Archaeological Museum of Kambos
It exhibits various findings from excavations on Ikaria, such as sculptures, grave carvings from different periods.
Surfing

Watch the sunset from Nas
A lovely cove popular among naturists, Nas is the best place to see the sunset in Ikaria. It is located on the northern side of the island, at the end of Halari Gorge.
Stones houses
In order to protect themselves from enemies, Ikarians used to construct their houses in a way that made them look like massive rocks from a certain distance.
Church of Panagia Theoskepasti
This small church has an unusual architecture as it has a rock as a roof. The skulls of some monks are housed inside the chapel.
Hikking at Halari Gorge
The countryside of the island is green, dotted by many waterfalls and popular with hiking. A frequented hiking path is along Halari Gorge, ending at the gorgeous beach of Nas.
